Get to know Taryn…
Taryn started her career in Investment Banking across Sydney and London.
She supported Campaign Monitor’s $250m capital raise from US Venture Capital in 2014, working closely with the founders who started the email marketing software business from their garage in the Shire. She also worked on the Merger of SABMiller and AB InBev, one of the most significant M&A transactions globally (she knows a lot about beer!).
Before her stint in brewing investments, Taryn was the venture capital investment manager for an Australian family office fund focused on Consumer, Retail, Health, and Wellness venture investments. She also invested in the unusual pairing of High-Pressure Processed Milk Businesses and Yoga Festivals throughout this time.
In particular, Taryn is focused on B2B SaaS startups and founders who tackle the future of work. She has led investments into Hatch, Cake, Functionly, and Skedulo.

The maven of multitasking
Taryn is a born workplace juggler. As an investor, the multitasking fun never stops. On any given day, Taryn could participate in a board call and mark up a term sheet for a different investment while eating dinner 10 meters away from the Investor event she had just attended. She is a professional-grade power napper who can go dark for twenty minutes and pop back up, ready for action!
