Independent restaurants run on whiteboards, clipboards and vibes. They are the original small-margin, high-complexity business – and almost nothing in the tech stack acknowledges how much happens in a single shift.
Assaf Stizki spent ~20 years inside kitchens – building catering businesses, burger chains and venues – before he and CTO Ken Brand started building for restaurants from the inside out. When we met them, they were already replacing paper systems in dozens of venues. That kind of earned conviction is what a seed pitch ought to look like.
We led the seed and have followed on since. Restoke is now scaling across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Singapore and the United States.
Rampersand led Restoke's A$5.1M seed to scale its AI restaurant manager.
Restoke launched in the US, expanding alongside its existing AU, NZ, UK and Singapore footprint.
