Ramplify isn't a marketing line. It's the four programs we run to turn early-stage capital into an unfair advantage – warm leads, expert sessions, events, and the Giant Warm Intro. Portfolio gets full access. Community gets the newsletter and the events.
Twice a month. The deals we looked at, the memos we wrote, the patterns we're seeing in the market. Read by 2,000+ founders and operators across ANZ.
SubscribeDinners, workshops, IC simulations, portfolio meetups. 40+ a year across Melbourne and Sydney, and sometimes SF/NYC when our founders are there.
See upcomingMonthly 1:1 working sessions with world-class product operators. Portfolio founders bring a real problem; counsel tears it apart with them.
How it worksYou tell us who you want to meet – anywhere in tech. We find the shortest real path through our network and make the intro. Median path: 1.3 hops.
See the networkRampersand events are for founders and operators building ambitious companies looking for good people, great conversations and network connections that can open the right doors. Everything from casual coffees to focused product sessions – designed to help you meet others in the ecosystem, swap notes, and walk away with something genuinely useful.
Exactly what it sounds like: a relaxed morning catch-up for founders and operators over coffee. Great coffee and conversation, headlined by two smart people building and leading exceptional companies. Runs every couple of months in Melbourne and Sydney, supported by AWS for Startups.
The Rampersand Product Counsel (RPC) is unlike any product community in Australia – a high-calibre network of founders, product leaders and operators who've built and scaled product-led companies, many to unicorn status. Most events are closed; open sessions run a few times a year and sell out well in advance.
A program that gives every pre-seed founder access to a warm introduction to Australia's most prolific investors. We run an online matchmaking event every August, plus in-person events nationwide. Especially focussed on welcoming women and other founders from underrepresented groups.

We love giving back to the ecosystem. Spearheaded by our Partner Taryn Pieterse, the Giant Warm Intro is Australia's longest-running curated investor introduction program for early-stage founders. Since 2019, we've facilitated 1,200+ curated founder–investor meetings and tracked $10M+ in capital raised – often for founders who don't have an existing path to investors.

Taryn runs GWI personally – because giving back to the ecosystem starts with showing up for people who don't have a cap table yet. Since 2019 she's built GWI into Australia's most-recommended program for early-stage founders to meet active investors – with a focus on founders the rest of the industry tends to overlook. The point isn't to lower the bar. The point is to lower the barrier to getting in front of the bar.
Women and founders of underrepresented groups receive only a tiny share of Australian VC funding. We exist to change that – not by lowering the bar, but by lowering the barrier to getting in front of it. In the 2024 cohort, 87% of applicants identified as underrepresented, 38% as women, and 78% were at hyper-early stages. While we welcome all AUS/NZ tech founders, GWI especially focuses on founders the rest of the system keeps walking past.
A hybrid event every year – curated founder–investor matching, peer-driven small-group format, real space to share, ask, and walk away with feedback that lands. Most recently GWI x SOUTHSTART in Adelaide. Outcomes that go beyond the room.

Product is our deepest specialty. We back product-obsessed founders, and we've curated the operators who've actually shipped the things you're trying to ship. Not a panel. Not a podcast. A real 60-minute working session with someone who's done it. You bring a live problem; they tear it apart with you. Want to sit with the best product leaders in the country? The Counsel is portfolio-only, and chaired personally by our Venture Partner Rod Hamilton – co-founder & 12-year CPO of Culture Amp.

Rod co-founded Culture Amp in 2010 and spent 12 years as its Chief Product Officer, scaling the business to ~1,000 people, >US$100M ARR and 6,500+ customers before stepping aside from the CPO seat in 2022. He's still on the Culture Amp board. Before that, 15 years in enterprise tech shipping to telcos, banks and global incumbents. Rod chairs Rampersand's Product Counsel personally – matching founders to the right operator, sitting in on the hard sessions, and cutting straight to what actually moves the needle.

Engineering is our other deep specialty. Direct, working-level relationships with Anthropic and OpenAI – not media handles, the people actually shipping the next layer of the stack. Code & Coffee is the room we're building for ANZ's best engineers and AI builders to swap notes on what's working, what's broken, and what's coming next. Frontier demos, unfiltered debugging, working sessions you can't have on a public channel. Portfolio gets first access. Applications open for everyone else.

Andrew spearheads Code & Coffee – the room he's building for ANZ's best engineers and AI builders to swap notes with the people shaping what comes next. Through it, he's pulled together direct working relationships with the model labs – Anthropic, OpenAI – and the operators actually shipping the next layer of the stack. Working sessions, frontier demos, the unfiltered conversations the rest of the ecosystem doesn't get to have. If you're shipping at the edge, this is your room.
Engineers. AI builders. Infra people shipping at the frontier. Tell us what you're working on – we'll be in touch if it's a fit.
